Dear Father Christmas,

Please let the elves know to ditch the toys and just pack the box.

Love Bargy

PS. Just so you know, I have been very good this year. Any reports of me ironing the hall runner and drawing on the dining chairs have been greatly exaggerated.

  6. Ha! My *11yo* still has a ball with a box over his head. I actually have a hard time preserving boxes for reuse. They get turned into masks, and vehicles, and robots, and everything else his little mind can dream up. :p

Ironing the hall runner, that sounds like something I would do. Usually in connection to sewing something. (No lie..the amount of times I have accidentally ironed the carpet while fusing interfacing..oy.)

  7. My brother's best toy was a shoe box so that he could make cars and such for his GI Joe men.

I received your marvelous apron today. Thank you! It is absolutely fabulous. I am going to wear it to work the rest of the week and at home all of the days after that. We are making pancakes in my science class (chemical change) and I think my students will get a kick out of an apron rather than a lab coat. It is a perfect shade of green and I absolutely love the style. I will have to get that pattern if it still available. The cookbook is awesome too. I love to make cookies and cupcakes. In fact, lately, I seem to have a passion for making them. I've already started marking must try recipes.

    Thank you. You are super!
