Necessity is the mother of invention

Keep your pattern in place whilst cutting - without pins - using pattern weights.

  2. Hahaha Liesl. I use the most ridiculous items to keep my patterns in place also. Plant pots, my phone (not heavy enough though), a stone my eldest brought home one day, my tea mug (not very practical when you're as clumsy as I can be), all kinds of toys (which mysteriously dissapear when I turn my back on them for a second), books and spare shoes. :D

  5. If I misplace the 2000 pins that I have, I'm a coffee cup and phone person myself. But those wooden railway tracks would be damn good, wouldn't they?...
