  1. I always aim for (c) but usually end up with (d). Don't ask the Bloke who lives at my place, he'll answer (e) for sure.

ps. can you check your emails Liesl? Thanks! :)

  2. Hmmmm my minimalist sister would say A, I would intend to go with B, but probably end up with D...

  3. I have a friend who "pays a man" to come and do all the things she hates to do. For instance, she paid said man to come and put an ikea bookcase together. Now, I'm not saying I condone her use of "a man", but right about now, I'm thinking paying a man to come and put the christmas decorations away wouldn't be such a bad idea. I am lurking dangerously into category (d).

  5. B! We got home from a week on the road having left early on Boxing day and I started to pull the tree down before the bags were unpacked... It feels festive before Christmas to have a tree in the house, and it seems messy after Christmas to have said tree still in the house for more than a few days :)

  6. I usually end up with (d), which seems the least stressful option

  12. Umm leave them up as long as possible, I'm pretty sure the advent calendar tree was still hanging around the mantlepiece until at least June last year!! So I think that makes it a (d) over here!!

  13. Ours are gone...which makes us a (b) It seemed like a good idea to get them down on a day when the kids were driving us insane as it filled in a good 17 minutes of the school holidays...however a 2, 4 and 6 year old ripping tinsel down from great heights and pulling off breakable decorations with great vigour did not seem quite so good an idea.

  14. Intended to do c) but I think it's going to d) for me. It's just now I have a passion for snowman, and I think they might get sad in a cupboard.
Loved your poem yesterday. You are brilliant!

  17. I am on the A list, I also only put up all decorations on Christmas eve. Apart from fairy lights which are an all year thing. The chap in my house is a total E now the kids are grown up!

  18. Mine are all still up. But I love the LIGHTS! How can I remove the tree and the ornaments and still enjoy those gorgeous, flattering, atmosphere enhancing, coloured bulbs without looking like a Christmas crazy woman? Having said all that, I'm hoping I'll have it down by Friday... I even bought some new decorations in the sales that are already in the box for next year.
