Hoppo Bumpo (n): A children's game. Played by folding one's arms and hopping on one leg. Aim is to bump opponents, so that they lose their balance. Last person standing wins.

Brand new day. Brand new year. Brand new decade.
New goals and resolves. Changes afoot.
Bigger, better, brighter.

Pity the sun didn't know.
It set in the same old spot as yesterday.

    Welcome 2010!
    My kids stayed up to midnight last night, their eyes were hanging out of their heads, but they wanted to see in the New Year. At midnight by 9 yo daughter promptly pinched and punched me (lightly), and said pinch and a punch for the first of the month, the year and the decade!
    I can't wait to see what exciting things this year has in store.
