Eye spy ... bed (Blogtoberfest day 18)

I am playing along with Bug and Pop's lovely "Eye Spy" each Sunday. This week's theme is from the delightful Miss Muggins. She has asked us to show our bed.

Hmmm ....

I suspect showing the bed on the world-wide interweb net might be stretching the friendship with Mr Hoppo Bumpo a bit.

So instead I present you with this vignette. Its a little something that I found this morning, after an uncomfortable night's sleep. Some kind soul had put it inside my pillowcase.

How times change. Once upon a time, when I used to travel for work, there was often a fancy chocolate on the pillow. Now it appears its an Imperial Storm Trooper in business casual.

Thank you to Cindy for hosting Eye Spy and to Laurel for the theme. To discover other beds, head over here. (This post brought to you as part of Tinniegirl's Blogtoberfest - a post a day in October.)

  1. I once woke up to a potato, a kumera and a can of cat food. I could of survived in there for the whole day if the little suppliers of food would of left me be.

  2. At least he was inside your pillowcase. It could have ended up inside an orifice by morning if he was on the loose!

  3. Hehe, they get around, those little fellas ;)

  4. This would be an improvement. I usually find a dog toy or a dirty sock.
    He's kinda cute:)

  5. When I was a child I had a fish tank on my bed side table. One morning I woke up to a dead fish sharing my pillow - it had jumped out of the tank during the night. Needless to say I was horrified & screamed for my parents. Still a bit traumatising when I think about it...

  7. OK, I have to admit, I have been squinting my eyes to see if I can see the real bed through the pixillation - how sad am I

  11. *grin* Too funny. I find toys, all kinds of toys, in the most weird places also. Like in a plant (it probably was encouraged to climb a tree), under the mat (buried? A mole? A mineworking experiment?), between my jewelry (burglars!!! Call for the police!), in a sock of mine (yes, one lonely sock. I know. That is my own fault. I should have been a better housewife and keep them together ;-)) or in the toiletpaper ('what is that bumb? Why can't I move that thing? Wait, did they actually get half the paper off, then put some thingy between the papersheets and then rolled the thing back up? Amazing!').

Most of the times I find these treasures when they are tucked into bed and sound asleep. I almost want to get them out again then. To give them a giant hug :-)
