The definition of optimism (Blogtoberfest day 19)
The definition of optimism is ...
... "the tendency to anticipate the best possible outcome" ...
... or put another way ...
... flying in the face of facts and cutting a jolly big hole in the door.
Today's entertainment courtesy of Mr Hoppo Bumpo and our adopted cat, who refuses to use the lovely cushion or cat house that Mr HB bought her.

Wonderful photo of the cat - really captured the devine emerald colour of the eyes.
ReplyDeleteWill look forward to reading the outcome. Fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteI really like that cushion- i cannot beleive the puss rejected it!!
ReplyDeleteAhh, you know they will never go where you want them to ;)
ReplyDeleteMy boy recently got a bed after years of moving about and surprise surprise- he likes it!!! Pre-tested by the Staffy of course!
Oops .... they will not be cajoled !
ReplyDelete"Dogs have masters. Cats have servants"
ReplyDeleteAnd never forgetting, "Women and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should just get used to it"
Good luck!
Lovely snap!
ReplyDeleteYou never know...one day the cat may be discovered curled on the cushion and/or in the little house. Sometimes cats are suddenly tempted to try something they've been ignoring for months, and it becomes a habit. A bit like people, come to think of it :)
Tas took the words out of my mouth - Dogs have masters, Cats have servants. However, it's probably not constructive of you to point this out to Mr HB.
ReplyDeleteI love how that cat adopted you!
ReplyDeleteOur Bobby adopted us too, and makes us jump through similar hoops :D
well the cat might eventually might use the pillow once someone else starts using it :p
