Hoppo Bumpo (n): A children's game. Played by folding one's arms and hopping on one leg. Aim is to bump opponents, so that they lose their balance. Last person standing wins.

Balloons (Blogtoberfest day 16)



At 23:30 last night, after an evening of frenetic painting and printing, I did the big ta-dahhhhh.

Bargy's party invitations were finished: water-colour and Gocco print on 300gsm water colour paper.

Mr Hoppo Bumpo took one glance. Couldn't you have just done those on a printer? he said.



I felt deflated, like a .....

  8. Men just don't understand the love we have of crafting. Whenever I knit something Corey says to me "can't you just buy a (insert whatever I am knitting here)?" I love the invites they look very nice.

  13. oh I think they're gorgeous...a printer could never have touched it! But aren't hubbies grand - D has said a similar thing a few times...made me want to wear stilettos purely for the pleasure of hurling them at his eyeball.
