Send in the clowns
A couple of weeks ago I made these experimental wide-legged baby trousers for a newly arrived bub. To be honest I'm not sure whether "wide" is really the look that well-dressed infants are sporting in Winter 09?
They should, however, be rather handy if the recipient decides to run away to the circus somewhere between age 3 - 6 months.

That's what all the cool bubbas are wearing this season. Skinny jeans are sooooo March 2009.
ReplyDeleteBubba's need room to kick and roll - those pants are perfect. Dont forget to make a matching flower that squirts water and a big red nose.
ReplyDeleteWe're not all suited to wearing drainpipe style pants....I know I'm not! Perfect.
ReplyDeleteThese are sweet, not clowny at all
ReplyDeleteI think they're perfectly lovely. Skinny-leg pants just don't look so hot with a big nappy bum.
ReplyDeletePlus they're very versatile.
They don't seem all that wide in the photo - you'll have to put a picture of the pants on the baby for perspective.
ReplyDeleteSo long as you don't allow Argy and/or Bargy near newly arrived bub with a red texta, I'm sure there will be no problem with mistaking said bub as a clown. The pants are fab.
ReplyDeletethis style looks so gorgeous on!! plus babies look cute in everything- they are the easiest people to dress
ReplyDeleteHey..I made my kiddos wide leg pants all the time..I thought they were cute!! :p
