Kiddy craft: pass or fail?
They asked if they could do some sticking. I'll admit it ... a better mother probably would have provided scissors, paste and paper.
But just quietly, that sticky tape was the best $3.45 I have spent all week.

Less mess too, love it
ReplyDeleteI love how you always manage to think outside the square, and make everything seem so purposeful, when you do your thinking out loud xx
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a pass!
ReplyDeleteHow long enjoyment did they get? If you tell me 30mins of peace and quiet I'll be off to buy rolls in bulk!
ReplyDeleteLisa, there is a guaranteed 30 minutes in every roll. But be warned ... there's at least another 30 of cleaning tacky bits of tape off everything at the end!
ReplyDeleteYeah! We do that too. Masking tape is Caleb's tape of choice and it is the perfect activity for a rainy day. I say pass too!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!!!
ReplyDeleteScissors, paste and paper with sticky tape is too obvious. Sticky tape and a table.. now that requires imagination.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant, Mama! I may need to steal this idea...
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm a HUUUUUUUGE fan of the roll of sticky tape whenever I need a bit of uninterrupted time. I buy it IN BULK. We have all sorts of things sticky-taped together at our house.
ReplyDeleteMight want to consider blue painter's tape to make the clean-up easier. It's more expensive, but might be worth it for the lower stickiness. Plus, it is colored. I've seen both blue and green here in the US.
ReplyDeleteWAAAAYYYY more creative than the TV - total pass - flying colours...
ReplyDeleteOh, heck yeah, a roll of tape. And it has longevity, too. It's only within the last year or so that I have been assured of finding an intact roll of tape in the house when I need one. You know how many ways various body parts can be taped up to hilarious effect? :p
