Eye spy ... a discovery
I am playing along with Cindy's Eye Spy meme each Sunday. This week Meagan of The Byron Life asked us to spy a discovery.
Mine is not so much a discovery, as a rediscovery.
It was buried at the bottom of a container of treasures in our box room. The lightest of bags, sandwiched between a tattered stamp album and a swathe of vintage swap cards. My childhood feather collection.
Each downy and contoured addition special in its own way. A glint of colour here or a pattern there. All genuine finds from the wild. Except, that is, for one that looks suspiciously like a stray from a feather duster.
Thank you to Cindy for hosting Eye Spy and to Meagan for the fun theme. To see some more discoveries, head over here.

I love looking at feathers, so many colours to see and collect. When I had a feather collection they were all fake :p mom was afraid of me catching something from the feathers :/
ReplyDeleteThose feathers are really beautiful. Nature is pretty amazing isn't it.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I love your collection -- what a wonderful find!
ReplyDeleteOh, what a memory-jogger! I used to have a feather collection too - I loved the peacock feathers the best.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a great re-discover! What will you do with them now I wonder?
ReplyDeleteLovely! I had a chuckle at the feather duster comment!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the pre-washed info on pippijoes fabrics! Looks like I've had no excuse to keep that one stashed other than a fear of cutting!
This is a great post shared. Thanks for sharing this post. Really a great job done.
