Hoppo Bumpo (n): A children's game. Played by folding one's arms and hopping on one leg. Aim is to bump opponents, so that they lose their balance. Last person standing wins.

Tall poppy syndrome



The pansies were a happy bunch.



Until they noticed the high rise development.



Oh, how it towered above them.



Naturally, the pansies grew resentful.



So they hatched a plan ...

    it's always the cheeriest looking ones that hold the biggest scissors! (I have a sneaking suspicion our violas are hatching a similar plan regarding their gargantuan bedfellow just on the other side of the property line. Eek, human neighbourly relations may be strained)
