Eye spy ... seasons change
I am playing along with Bug and Pop's lovely "Eye Spy" each Sunday. This week's theme is from the gorgeous Lisa of The Princess and The Monkey. She has asked us to spy a season's change.
In my part of the world we are heading into Spring: the season of the annual school fair. There are some absolute beauties around Melbourne.
This afternoon Argy and I kicked off the fair season, by travelling to an inner city school. We admired the beautiful grounds, patted baby animals, perused student artworks, rummaged through bric-a-brac and - most importantly - consumed pink sugar spun to the size of our heads. Perfect.
Thank you to Cindy for hosting Eye Spy and to Lisa for the theme. To discover other season's changes, head over here

I love the photo! How exciting is spring and how much fun are spring fairs.
ReplyDeleteMmmmm fairy floss is one of my favourite treats. I'm very jealous of little Argy!
ReplyDeleteHmm that Fair Floss does look good! We had out local Spring Fair today too, love them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo! We just went to a school fete the other day. Sadly on the coast there are not a lot of school fetes done anymore. We used to love going to them when we were kids.
ReplyDeleteI do love a school fair, made even better if it involves fairy floss. For me, it's got to be the freshly spun stuff. I don't like the prepackaged version.
ReplyDeleteThere's a school near us that has an annual fete and it's a beauty. Even if the school oval has been reduced to a black sand wasteland, completely devoid of grass because of the fete. It's worth it.
going to have to find cotton candy now somewhere and the stuff in a bucket wont do...
ReplyDeleteWe used to have a great school fair when I was a child, sadly our local mountain schools don't have an annual fete so I may have to scout around OM for some. Great photo, the fairy floss looks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI can almost feel the sugar on my teeth ;-) Great photo!
