This evening I'm doing a little home decorating.
After deliberating for a while about what to do with four beautiful pieces of Hollabee's Swirl fabric, I've decided to make them into wall hangings.
So Mr Hoppo Bumpo has located the staple gun and I have started stretching the fabric across small canvases. Its a slow process. I'm nervous about using an automated gizmo that fires bits of metal at high velocity.
With good reason.
It all stems back to the time that Mr Hoppo Bumpo thought that I should try out his new rivet gun. I wasn't keen. He was insistent. Needless to say, I riveted my thumb instead of the shower screen.
Let's hope that I do a better job this time.

gorgeous! Thank you so much for using my fabric for this...I love it!
ReplyDeletegotta get myself one of those guns :)
A staple gun is on my list of must-haves. A few projects waiting on the appearance of one ( will the really cheap one at the $2 shop be really crap and a waste of money ? )

Ohh can't wait to see the finished product! Oh and yes, depending on which end of Eastlink you live, you could always head toward the Monash Freeway for a drive and find the diggers, asphalters, men with signs all of whom are now resident at most points at the moment!
